Hole Inspection
Eddy Current is the the ideal NDT method that used Bolt hole inspection due to its ability to detect very small irregularities in metal with great accuracy and repeatability.
Flaws that sit within Bolt holes for example are often very small and difficult to detect. This is a NDT inspection that is routinely required in the aircraft maintenance industry and now the method is also being used increasingly in the power generation industry for the inspection of bolt-holes on wind turbines.
Eddy current rotary inspections of fastener holes and countersinks are a common application and is made even more flexible with Ether’s Rotary drive corned with our rotating probe range.
