ETher NDE News WeldCheck makes the Insight Front Cover

We were extremely pleased to see the WeldCheck make an appearance on the BINDT monthly journal, Insight.

The inside cover blurb says it so well:

ETher NDE would like to thank Oilfield Testing Services, Great Yarmouth and our model-for-the-day Sean Shepherd (Level 3 Rope Access Supervisor) for their help with shooting this month’s cover featuring the WeldCheck Eddy Current Flaw Detector.

Designed and manufactured in the UK by the ETher NDE team and fitted with industry standard 12-Way Lemo and Co-axial Lemo 00 connectors, the WeldCheck is able to use absolute, bridge and reflection probes without the need for adaptors.

Featuring a daylight-readable 5.7” LCD Colour Full Screen, the Operator has excellent signal presentation and with the built-in “flip” function the WeldCheck suits left or right-handed users equally.

With a minimum of 8.5 hours battery life (100kHz Weld Probe at a maximum brightness), tough Aluminium/Mg Si 0.5 Alloy powder-coated outer case and at a weight of just 1.1kg, the WeldCheck is the obvious choice when facing a long day of EC NDT.

ETher NDE News ETi-200 & WeldCheck Training in Asia a success

John Hansen and Mike Reilly hosted an ETi-200 and WeldCheck two day training session in Malaysia in conjunction with our Malaysian and Indonesian distributors.

The training took place at Holiday Villa, Subang Jaya last week with fifteen attendees from five different countries, including three distributors and twelve customers from Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan.

For the ETi-200 attendees concentrated on Tube Inspection and for the WeldCheck the training included general familiarisation and Remote Access.

The success of this regional training session is the start of more of the same as we head into 2014. Mike said, "We were very pleased with the outcome of this training session and look forward to offering more application specific regional training sessions in conjunction with our distributors for customers world-wide".

ETher NDE News Back to back Expos for ETher NDE this November

It has been a very busy November for ETher NDE so far with three different exhibitions on three different continents in as many weeks.

The exhibition trail started at the ASNT Fall Conference 2013 in Las Vegas during the first week of November. The conference and exhibition reportedly attracted over 1500 delegates including those for the whole and conference and some for the exhibition only.

ETher NDE used the exhibition as an opportunity to showcase our WeldCheck and AeroCheck Eddy Current Flaw Detectors as well as our SigmaCheck EC Conductivity Meter and ETi-200 ET Flaw Detector.

There was a constant stream of interest in the two new units and the position of the stand, in our opinion, couldn't have been better, being positioned near the food and beverage area of the show. It was an important show for introducing the WeldCheck and AeroCheck to the US and overseas markets and we were very pleased with how well the instruments have been received.

Since then ETher NDE has been at the NDT in Aerospace Exhibition in Singapore and is at the ACPNDT in Mumbai in India this week. A full report on these shows will follow.

ETher NDE is now looking forward to the official launch of the AeroCheck in January 2014 (pre orders being taken from 1st December 2013). To find out more about the AeroCheck please visit http://aerocheck.co.uk/
